DIESEL TRANSMISSION TECHNOLOGY
Our Story

Our company leader is Bill Kondolay.

Bill has been a respected force in the transmission industry for many years because of his no non-sense and innovative approach when dealing with and designing for the automatic transmission.

His famous FULL SEASON WARRANTY on his customized race transmissions set an unprecedented standard many were never able to duplicate.

Diesel Transmission Technology came to be when Bill saw the challenge that the Diesel Industry was facing and was not dealing with, as it was easier and more profitable to do nothing. He set off with a team of specialists to build the ultimate power transfer converter for the mighty Cummins engine. Along the way DTT has made substantial enemies in this diesel industry by doing things our way and speaking out against those that were taking advantage of the Dodge Ram owners. Bill has been doing battle with those who were giving out reckless and dangerous transmission advice ever since. The next challenge DTT took on was re-designing transmission products for the Ford Power Stroke as he noticed they were facing monumental losses of their triple disc clutch converters in the field. DTT’s same innovative technology was used to tailor the steel stator for the ford power strokes and also the V10’s. Presently in the Design Phase is the Chevy Duramax product line.

At DTT we strongly believe that an educated consumer is a force to be reckoned with. We also believe that it is only by consumers educating themselves and understanding the functions of the products they purchase will manufactures be forced to deliver what they promise and so freely advertise.

On this website we will give you the tools to understand if someone is telling you the truth or if what they are trying to tell you defies the laws of physics.

While we have done our best to provide useful information in an easy digestible format please do not ever hesitate to call or use the forum we provide for questions. We will continue to update the technical portions of the website on an on going basis so if you require assistance with something not covered as yet on the forums please contact us directly.

Bill, when I worked at National Cash Register years ago, they taught us to also to not just fix the first thing we found wrong, but to continue trouble shooting until we found the root cause of the problem! Advice that probably applies to your line of work also, and I am sure that you have many times backed out other "fixes" when you got to the bottom or true cause of the problem.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks ,

Bill hates it when we talk about him, he was not to fond that we did the mini bio on him but we had a lot of guys that came up here and got to know a bit about his background that suggested some of his other customers that did not get to meet him might be interested it .

thanks for the comments.

though i cannot afford an upgraded auto yet, i do know 100% that i will go with DTT. and although i've never personally talked to bill, i know many people who have. they always talk about how he'll help people that he doesn't know, the quality of the products, etc. etc. (these are the northeast people). most every northeast auto that's modified has a DTT, and no one is dissatisfied. what i like is that Bill cuts through the crap and gives the real deal to his customers (and even non-customers). i'm personally sick of seeing what's advertised only to have some general problems that's always trying to be covered up. many seem to say something about their product (that may be a bad design) only to sell them. you get what comes back to you in business- whether good or bad. the customer comes first Razz
